iProspect India promotes Muddassar Memon as AVP, creative and social

Previously, he was national creative director (NCD) at the agency.

iProspect India, the digital performance agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has announced the elevation of Muddassar Memon as associate vice-president (AVP), creative and social. In his new role, Memon will report to Brijesh Munyal, executive vice-president (EVP), operations, iProspect India. He will head social media and creative services for the company on a pan-India basis.

Prior to the elevation, he was national creative director (NCD) at the agency and has been with the agency for the last 10 years.

Commenting on his appointment, Memon says, "Social media is gaining momentum, and we are proud to be ahead of the curve on this front. We have an extremely proficient social media team that is geared up to plan and execute interesting campaigns on the new accounts with its experience. As we escalate our focus on social media, the move also brings us one step closer to being a one-stop shop, a 360-degree digital agency where clients are offered all required digital services under one roof. I am delighted to be leading these efforts, especially in the newly-appointed role."

Among the agency's existing clientele are brands such as Myntra, ShopClues, Koovs, Raymond, Aegon Religare, American Express, Axis Bank, Bharti Axa, HDFC, ICICI, Kotak, MaxLife, Reliance General Insurance, Royal Sundaram, Yes Bank, Cleartrip, Club Mahindra, Thomas Cook, Apollo Hospitals, and Remit2India; the recently won businesses include Aditya Birla, Wildcraft, Ayurwin, ICICI Bank NRE Service, Max Fashion, Extramarks, and Sunshine (Ashok Leyland), for which it will handle both its social media and creative mandates.

While ICICI Bank NRE Service and Aditya Birla accounts will be led from the Mumbai office, Wildcraft, Ayurwin, and Max Fashion will be led from the Bengaluru office. Extramarks and Sunshine (Ashok Leyland) will be serviced from New Delhi and Chennai respectively, says the company in a press release.

Commenting on the new wins, Vivek Bhargava, chief executive officer (CEO), iProspect India, says, "Brands are increasingly becoming cognizant of the value digital can drive across all aspects of their business. Sectors which were wary of going the digital way are now embracing it readily. The growth in diversity of the client sectors in our portfolio is an indication of this. iProspect India is headquartered in Mumbai, with three other offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and a recently opened one in Chennai.
