Amazon India and T-Series have together announced a long-term content licensing partnership which will make Amazon's Prime Video India the exclusive subscription streaming home for T-Series' upcoming new film releases. This follows close on the heels of Amazon's similar tie-up with Dharma Productions recently, except for the fact that the one with Dharma Productions included the streaming of some of the film company's earlier films as well.

The T-Series films which will premiere on Prime Video include upcoming titles such as Tum Bin 2, directed by Anubhav Sinha, Noor, Chef, Raabta, Simran. There are 17 under-production films from T-Series that will be showcased to subscribers of Prime Video before their television premiere.

"As a result of this partnership, Amazon Prime members will soon enjoy a wide variety of some of the best Bollywood movies in the country, all within a few weeks of their theatrical release," says Nitesh Kripalani, director and country head, Amazon Video India. "We are committed to adding value for Prime members, and will continue to add more content in the coming months," he adds.

As reported earlier, Prime Video is still to go live in India. Currently, Amazon Prime, whose members can access Prime Video once it is launched here, offers unlimited free One-day and Two-day delivery to over 100 cities on eligible items from its selection of products and 30 minutes early access on top deals.
