With Sethi on board, the company aims to build its content distribution segment along with brand sales.
In a recent announcement, WittyFeed, a content marketing platform, has appointed Mayur Sethi as partner and chief operating officer. With this new member on board, the company aims to build its content distribution segment along with brand sales.
With more than a decade of experience, Sethi has worked with Havas Media and then started his own digital marketing agency, MP09 Digital while working on Hoppingo, an e-commerce curation and product discovery platform, in parallel. Having done that for five years Sethi exited two start-ups successfully and was working as a digital consultant when he began working closely with the management team at WittyFeed to build the brand and managing operations on the floor. Soon after the successful re-launch of the brand and its re-branding, the call was made to bring him aboard and help in shaping the vision of the company further.
Vinay Singhal, CEO, WittyFeed, says in a press release, "Mayur would primarily be taking care of distribution in the organisation where he has good experience in managing partnership and strategic alliances with many brands and agencies. Mayur has been instrumental in setting up our brand delivery team and has also been managing the brand collaboration and marcomm team."
He adds, "For almost two years, we have been working with Mayur on various projects and have seen him optimizing the thought process and working efficiently with his agency and startup experience. He played a pivoted role in the re-branding of WittyFeed and other in-house properties and since then, we have not looked back."
Parveen Singhal, CCO, WittyFeed, says in a press release, "Mayur comes from a very different school of thought and his management skills have helped in channelising various streams internally; this association has, so far, helped us in optimising various internal processes. Mayur knows how to build a sustainable business for the long-term and we're looking forward to drawing on his expertise as we continue to grow."
Talking about his product level understanding and working as an entrepreneur in multiple domains, Shashank Vaishnav, CTO, WittyFeed, says in a press release, "He has a good understanding of technology and how efficiency can be mapped to enhance the processes using that technology and that is what I liked about him. We are together working on a product internally, within his leadership which will help in changing the dynamics of content distribution and audience development. With strong business acumen and a knack for client satisfaction, we are sure the relationship with partners will be strengthened even more."
Sethi is an Educationist and practitioner of Knowledge-sharing by heart and has been part of a list - 'Top 50 Digital Marketing Professionals' - by WMC. He will be based out of Indore but would be taking care of all markets to expand the horizon of the company and empower the resources with knowledge and experience as chief operating officer.
Commenting on his appointment, Sethi says in a press release, "WittyFeed is one such aspirational startup that every entrepreneur wants to build; my aim here would be to use my experience and learnings from various startups I have built and further grow and strengthen the distribution segment. Audience development and management is the most important part of any SSP and I am sure to develop it further and scale big."
