LinkedIn's Akshay Kothari joins Notion

Mahesh Narayanan to take over as the new country manager – LinkedIn India, from January 2019.

Akshay Kothari, former head - international product, LinkedIn, has joined Notion. Kothari’s last working day was August 31. Since then, Olivier Legrand - LinkedIn’s managing director for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region - has been interim country manager. Kothari is presently based out of San Francisco Bay Area.

Notion is a project management tool for teams or individuals looking to create their own work-space to get things done.The app offers a highly flexible interface for taking notes and creating to-do lists.

Kothari joined LinkedIn in 2013 from Pulse (a personalised news application) - a company he co-founded, and which was acquired by LinkedIn. During his tenure at LinkedIn, Kothari played key roles across the company. Most recently, he was responsible for leading the growth of LinkedIn's business in India and globally, with products like LinkedIn Lite.

In India, Mahesh Narayanan will join as the new country manager from January 7, 2019. He will report to Legrand, and will join the company’s Asia Pacific senior management team.
