Airtel partners with Amazon Prime to give prepaid subscribers free membership

As part of its #AirtelThanks program, which brings a range of exclusive benefits to its customers, Airtel today launched a new prepaid bundle at INR 299 to offer 28 days of Amazon Prime membership at no additional cost along with 2.5GB data/day, unlimited calls to any network and 100 SMS/day. Amazon Prime membership is also available to Airtel Infinity Postpaid Plans customers at no additional cost.

Smartphone customers recharging with the pack will get access to all Amazon Prime benefits that include the best of entertainment and shopping: Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading and unlimited free fast shipping on millions of items along with early and exclusive access to deals on Amazon.in. All of this to go with generous daily data quota that truly unlocks the smartphone experience on a world-class mobile network.

Customers can buy this pack online on AirtelThanks app, airtel.in, Amazon.in and Amazon Pay or the nearest Airtel retail store. The Amazon Prime membership can be activated through AirtelThanks app. Access to Prime Video is available after downloading the Prime Video app on supported devices. Customers can sign-up for Amazon Prime anytime during the 28 day validity of the pack and use benefits till the pack expires. Upon expiry of the validity, the Amazon Prime and telecom benefits end. Customers can simply recharge with the same pack again to restart their Amazon Prime membership without having to sign in.
