COLORS to present a gamut of new shows across genres

Announces the launch of two drama series – Kawach Mahashivratri, Bepanah Pyaarr, and Dance reality show - Dance Deewane 2.

COLORS, the flagship GEC channel from Viacom 18 is all set to turn up the summer heat. With a series of programs lined up for this summer season, the brand is ready to stand true to its theme by offering a perfect combination of emotions and variety. The two new drama shows from the house of Balaji Telefilms’ stable are Kawach Mahashivratri and Bepanah Pyaarr, and the new season of the dance reality show Dance Deewane. Also, this is not the first time the channel has associated with Balaji Telefilms, in past too, they have collaborated to deliver hits including Naagin, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, and Chandrakanta. With this new association, the channel is all set to add more flavours of entertainment to the popular genre.

With Kawach Mahashivratri, a supernatural thriller and Bepanah Pyaarr, a romatic thriller, COLORS plans to offer a fresh narrative bringing in the best of fiction to its mass viewership. In addition to that, the launch of the second season of Dance Dewane will further mark as a stronghold of the brand in the reality content genre. While Kawach Mahashivratri premiered on May 25 with positive responses, Bepanah Pyaarr and Dance Dewane are scheduled to release on June 3 and June 15 respectively.

An extension of its supernatural franchise Kawach, Kawach Mahashivratri picked up the baton from its hit show Naagin 3. The narrative highlights Sandhya and her fight against the unknown - who rise on the auspicious time of Mahashivratri. The lead role of Sandhya is played by TV Star Deepika Singh. Other cast members include Namik Paul, Vin Rana, Mallika Nayak, Harsh Vashisht and others in pivotal roles.

Bepanah Pyaarr: Starting June 3, 2019, Mon-Fri 10 pm

A romantic thriller which traces the love-bound turbulent journey of Raghbir (Pearl Puri) and Baani (Aparna Dixit). Who felt fulfilled in each other’s company but fate had something else in store. What was once love for Raghbir eventually leads to his downfall. The show will also have Ishita Dutta play Pragati who enters Ragbhir’s life under mysterious circumstances.

Dance Deewane: Starting June 15, 2019, Sat-Sun 9 pm

Dance Deewane Season 2 will once give the participants across three generations a chance to share a grand stage that enables them to display their passion for dance.

With three diverse yet equally entertaining and sensational shows lined up, COLORS seem to be growing at an unprecedented rate, both in terms of the endeavors and audience engagement. In addition to this, coming together again, the hit combination between Balaji Telefilms and the channel is all set to take the Hindi GEC Entertainment genre to the next level.

Experience thrill and watch the mysteries unfold, tune in to COLORS to watch - Kawach Mahashivratri, every Saturday & Sunday at 8 pm, Bepanah Pyaarr every Monday to Friday at 10 pm, starting June 3, 2019, and the popular dance show Dance Deewane, every Saturday & Sunday at 9 pm, starting June 15.
