The Festival of Media, the globally known marketing and media event, is happening in Asia for the first time. Dedicated to communications professionals across the Asian market, the event is uniquely positioned to bring together the continent's most influential marketers, media owners, and media agency networks.
The two-day festival, being held on 13-15 November 2011, will combine conferences and exhibitions with networking sessions, coupled up with an awards ceremony. Happening at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore, the event will provide the opportunity to share best practices and celebrate achievements in media innovation within the Asian context.
The event has in the past, addressed themes like branded content, advertising and social media, free versus paid-for media models, the future of measurement, procurement in marketing and transformative consumer trends.
With a comprehensive agenda planned for the event, the schedule aims to touch upon topics like the future of finance, marketing in Asia, and the future of mainstream media, facing the Asian talent gap beyond advertising, understanding consumer change, insights into cross-media branding, the social revolution, the power of single-shared idea, and media innovation in Asia.
The Festival of Media LatAm (Latin America) was the first regional launch of the Festival brand, with 2011 witnessing a second regional launch in Asia. The Festival of Media Asia will offer a chance for delegates to reflect on the many changes taking place in the region's communications landscape, understand the global trends that are influencing the industry, and learn how prominent brands tackle a region so diverse in culture and reach. Featuring some of Asia's leading decision-makers, with a conference format designed to build bridges and facilitate peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, this is a festival encouraging media creativity and innovation.
