RAM Week 31: AIR FM Gold moves up two spots to become No. 4 player in Mumbai

In Delhi, for the second week, both AIR FM Rainbow and Hit FM continue to score identical market shares of 1.6 per cent

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for four RAM markets for Week 31 is out. Here is an update on the RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.1 per cent; while its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.3 per cent.

The second and third spots in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City, respectively. Red FM has a market share of 13.6 per cent with a loss of 0.2 percentage points. Its last four weeks' market share is slightly higher at 14.1 per cent.

Radio City has a market share of 13.6 per cent, same as last week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 13.3 per cent.

This week, AIR FM Gold has moved up two spots to No. 4. It has a market share of 11.6 per cent, gaining 0.6 percentage point over the previous week.

Big FM is next, with a market share of 11.2 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.7 per cent. At No. 6,Fever FM has a market share of 11.1 per cent, which is unchanged from last week.

Radio One is at No. 7, with a market share of 7 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.2 per cent.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 31 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.7 per cent; followed by Akashvani Mumbai (2.5 per cent) and Meow FM (2.4 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 24.9 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.7 per cent.

At No. 2, Fever FM has a market share of 18.6 per cent; while AIR FM Gold is placed third with a market share of 17.7 per cent.

Red FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 9.5 per cent, which is close to its last four weeks' average market share of 9.6 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.8 per cent, gaining 0.5 percentage point in comparison to Week 30. Big FM occupies sixth position with a market share of 7.8 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage point.

Radio One is No.7 with a market share of 5.6 per cent, which is identical to its last four weeks' average market share.

Among other stations in Delhi in Week 31 are Meow FM, which has a market share of 2.3 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow, Hit FM and Vividh Bharati (1.6 per cent each).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.4 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 19.6 per cent.

At No. 2, Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage point over the previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 17.7 per cent.

Fever FM is at No. 3, with a market share of 15.2 per cent; while its last four weeks' average market share is 15.3 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage point in comparison to Week 30. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.3 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 with a market share of 9 per cent and a loss of 0.5 percentage point. The radio station's last four weeks' average market share is 9.4 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 6, with a market share of 8.7 per cent. It is followed by Red FM, which has a market share of 8.3 per cent.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 31 is Vividh Bharati, with a market share of 4.9 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (3.3 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent) and Akashvani (0.3 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.4 per cent, but it has lost 0.5 percentage point over the previous week. Big FM and Friends FM are placed No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 17.6 per cent, which is identical to its average market share in the last four weeks. Friends FM has a market share of 11.7 per cent, gaining 0.5 percentage point over Week 30. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.7 per cent, which is the same as its last four weeks' average market share.

Fever FM continues at No. 5 with a market share of 8.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage point over the previous week. It is followed by Red FM, which has a market share of 8.5 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 8.7 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage point. Meow FM has registered a market share of 5.2 per cent.

In Week 31, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.7 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (3.4 per cent), Akashvani (2.1 per cent), Power FM (1.3 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.5 per cent).
