RAM Week 33: In Kolkata, Red FM moves up a spot to No.6

This week, in Bengaluru, with a market share of 19.3 per cent, Big FM has registered a gain of 2.6 percentage points

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 33 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city, with a market share of 17.6 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.3 per cent.

This week, Red FM is back at No. 2 with a market share of 13.6 per cent; while its last four weeks' average market share is 13.7 per cent.

Slipping a spot to settle at No. 3 once again, Radio City has a market share of 13.1 per cent with a loss of 0.6 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share is 13.5 per cent.

Big FM is next, with a market share of 11.5 per cent, which is the same as its last four weeks' average market share. Fever FM is placed fifth with a market share of 11.2 per cent.

The next two spots are occupied by AIR FM Gold and Radio One, respectively. AIR FM Gold has a market share of 11.1 per cent; while Radio One has 6.5 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.3 per cent.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 33 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.5 per cent; followed by Akashvani Mumbai and Meow FM (2.8 per cent each).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 24.4 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.6 per cent.

At No. 2, Fever FM has a market share of 18.7 per cent. AIR FM Gold is placed third with a market share of 17.8 per cent, losing 0.2 percentage point over the previous week.

Red FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 9.6 per cent, losing 0.2 percentage point in comparison to Week 32.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.4 per cent. It is followed by Big FM, which has a market share of 7.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.5 percentage point.

Radio One is at No.7 with a market share of 5.6 per cent, gaining 0.4 percentage point.

Among other stations in Delhi in Week 33 are Meow FM, which has a market share of 2.2 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (2 per cent), Hit FM (1.8 per cent), Vividh Bharati (1.6 per cent) and Akashvani (0.1 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.3 per cent, registering a gain of 2.6 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 18.9 per cent.

At No. 2, Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage point over the previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is also 17.5 per cent.

Fever FM is at No. 3, with a market share of 15.2 per cent, which is identical to its last four weeks' average market share.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.8 per cent; while its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.5 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 with a market share of 9.3 per cent with a gain of 0.1 percentage point. The radio station's last four weeks' average market share is also 9.3 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 6, with a market share of 8.6 per cent. It is followed by Red FM, which has a market share of 8.1 per cent.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 33 is Vividh Bharati, with a market share of 4.7 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (3.4 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.8 per cent) and Akashvani (0.3 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.8 per cent, with a gain of 0.1 percentage point over the previous week. Big FM and Friends FM are placed No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 17.2 per cent, losing 0.1 percentage point; while Friends FM has a market share of 11.3 per cent, losing 0.2 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.6 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 10.7 per cent.

Red FM, with a market share of 8.6 per cent, has moved up to No. 5 in Kolkata. It is followed by Fever FM, which has a market share of 8.5 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share also turns out to be 8.5 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage point. Meow FM has registered a market share of 5.5 per cent.

In Week 33, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.5 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (3.4 per cent), Akashvani (2.2 per cent), Power FM (1.2 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.8 per cent).
