Bharat Kapadia, who was a full-time director on the board of directors at Lokmat, has quit the company. June 30 was his last day at Lokmat Media. Kapadia has turned entrepreneur once again and has launched a media and marketing consultancy called Ideas@ at BharatKapadia.com. He is in talks with two FMCG companies for his new venture.
Confirming the development to afaqs!, Kapadia says, 'I'm turning entrepreneur once again. Since, innovation is my staple diet, Ideas@BharatKapadia was the best option for me. My association with Lokmat has been pleasant and nice. I'm sure we will continue to work with each other in some way or the other."
Apart from the consultancy, he will also focus on scaling up his three-year-old technology company WhatUWant solutions.
Kapadia has also worked as Vice Chairman at MRUC, and as chief executive officer and managing editor at Jagran 18 (JV between Jagran Prakashan & Network 18), and has also been the executive director at Dainik Bhaskar.
