Colors slips; Sony back to No. 2

The channel's GRPs have dipped to 218 from 255 GRPs that it had secured in the previous week (Week 41). Its relative share has also fallen from 20.4 per cent, to 18 per cent during Week 42.

Colors, the flagship Hindi GEC from the Viacom18 stable that had regained its No. 2 spot in the previous week riding on Bigg Boss, has once again slipped to the No. 3 position.

The channel's GRPs have dipped to 218 GRPs, from the 255 GRPs that it had secured in the previous week (Week 41). Its relative share has also fallen from 20.4 per cent to 18 per cent during Week 42.

Meanwhile, with four shows from the Sony home finding a place in the Top 10 list of the week, the channel had moved back to the No. 2 spot once again. Its relative share has also moved up from 19.8 per cent, to 21.2 per cent.

Star Plus, the flagship Hindi GEC from the STAR stable, continues to lead the Hindi GEC flock despite a fall. The channel fell to 292 GRPs from 304 GRPs for the week ended October 15, 2011. Its relative share has however dipped marginally -- from 24.3 per cent in Week 41 to 24.2 per cent in Week 42.

At No. 4, Zee TV, too, has moved down the GRP grade -- from 142 points to 139 points, while its relative share remains stable at 11.4 per cent.

SAB TV, at No. 5, has added two GRPs to its GRP grade to end the week with 123 points. Its relative channel share has also moved up from 9.7 per cent to 10.1 per cent.

Imagine TV at No. 6 has scored 64 GRPs for the week (66 GRPs in the previous week), and its relative channel share is stable at 5.3 per cent. STAR One, with 34 GRPs, and a channel share of 3 per cent, follows it.

STAR One is at No. 8. The channel's relative share and GRPs have dipped marginally to 2.5 per cent (2.7 per cent in the previous week), and 30 GRPs (34 GRPs in the previous week), respectively.

Sahara One and DD1 have garnered relative shares of 2.5 per cent and 2.2 per cent, respectively.

Saathiya Saath Nibhana (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 6.21, followed by Kaun Banega Crorepati (Sony) and Balika Vadhu (Colors), with TVRs of 5.36 and 4.9, respectively. Uttaran, Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Diya Aur Baati Hum, and Pratigya are also a part of the Top 10 list.
