Sony with 240 GRPs, has added 9 GRPs in Week 49, riding on the back of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Crime Patrol and C.I.D., all having made it to the Top 10 list of the week.
According to the latest data from TAM (C&S 4+, HSM), Star Plus has maintained its top spot in Week 49 with 318 GRPs, while Colors, which stood at No. 2 in the previous week, has slipped to No. 3 with 227 GRPs.
Sony, in fact, has once again climbed up to the No. 2 spot, with 240 GRPs in its pocket, up from the 231 GRPs that it had garnered for the week ended November 26, 2011 (Week 48). The win has primarily come on the back of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Crime Patrol and C.I.D., all having made it to the Top 10 list of the week.
While the channel share of Star Plus has remained stable at 24.6 per cent, Sony's share has increased from 18.1 per cent in Week 48, to 18.5 per cent in Week 49. Colors has dropped from 21.8 per cent to 17.6 per cent.
Zee TV continues to be at No. 4, with its share stable at 11.7 per cent, while its GRPs have increased from 149 to 152.
The rest of the rankings remain more or less identical to the previous week. SAB TV is at No. 5 with a share of 9.3 per cent (8.5 per cent in the previous week), its GRPs moving up from 108 to 120.
Imagine TV is at No. 6, with a share of 5.9 per cent (5.8 per cent in the previous week), and a GRP of 77 (up from 73 GRPs in Week 48).
DD1 is at No. 7 with a share of 4 per cent as compared to 1.1 per cent in the previous week; it has garnered 51 GRPs as opposed to 14 in Week 48.
Sahara One is at No. 8, with a 3 per cent channel share, as compared to 2.8 per cent in the previous week, and 39 GRPs, as opposed to 36 in the previous week.
STAR One is at No. 9 with 3 per cent share, as compared to 3.3 per cent in Week 48, while its GRPs have decreased marginally from 42 to 39, this week.
STAR Utsav, with 2.2 per cent share (2 per cent in the previous week), and 29 GRPs (26 points in the previous week) is at No. 10.
Zee Smile follows next with 3 GRPs, and 0.2 per cent channel share.
Saathiya Saath Nibhana (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 6.26, followed by Bade Achhe Lagte Hai (Sony) and Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus), with TVRs of 5.37 and 5.05, respectively.
The fourth most-watched programme is Balika Vadhu, with 4.58 TVR. Crime Patrol (4.02 TVR), and Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (3.98 TVR) follow next. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, C.I.D., Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, and Sasural Simar Ka are also a part of the Top 10 list.
