Stable at No. 2, Sony adds 20 GRPs in Week 10

On the back of its property Crime Patrol, which climbed to the top spot in the top programmes list last week, MSM's Sony Entertainment Television garnered 231 GRPs. As per TAM data, the channel's relative share also increased this week.

Star Plus continues to rule the roost with an increase in its GRPs from 259points (Week 9) to 263 points (Week 10). However, its channel share is marginally down from 19.9 per cent to 19.8 per cent in the current week.

At No. 2, MSM's Sony Entertainment Television garnered 231 GRPs, against 212 GRPs last week, on the back of its thriller show, Crime Patrol. The non-fiction show is standing at the first position in the Top 10 programmes list for the second consecutive week.

As per TAM, C&S 4+, HSM, the channel's relative share also increased from 16.2 per cent to 17.4 per cent, this week.

Viacom18's channel, Colors, at No. 3, has also gained 5 GRPs during the week, pocketing 215 GRPs, up from last week's 210 GRPs. Its relative share is, however, stable at 16.2 per cent.

Meanwhile, at No. 4, Zee TV, too, has witnessed a marginal rise in its GRPs and relative share. While the channel added 6 points over the previous week to grab 212 GRPs for the week (against 206 GRPs in the past week), its relative share is at 15.9 per cent, up from 15.8 per cent gathered in Week 9.

Zee TV is followed by SAB at No. 5, which has added both in GRPs as well as channel share. It has clocked 136 GRPs, while recording a relative share of 10.2 per cent, up from 10.1 per cent registered in Week 9.

Life OK, at No. 6, has seen a decline in its GRPs, which came down to 84.66 points from 86.57 points. It has also lost relative share, which declined from 6.6 per cent to 6.4 per cent in the current week.

At No. 7, Imagine TV achieved 62 GRPs, down from last week's 65 GRPs. The channel's relative share is 4.6 per cent, down from 5 per cent.

Sahara One follows next at No. 8 with 45 GRPs, and a relative share of 3.4 per cent.

At No. 9, STAR Utsav's points have risen from 40 GRPs to 43 GRPs in the week ended March 10. The relative share is up at 3.2 per cent.

DD1 and Zee Smile, at No. 10 and No. 11, respectively, have lost GRPs in Week 10. DD1 has garnered 31 GRPs with a decrease in channel share (2.3 per cent in the current week). Zee Smile clocked 7 GRPs, remaining stable at 0.6 per cent channel share.

Sony's non-fiction thriller show Crime Patrol tops the list of Top 10 programmes amongst Hindi GECs (general entertainment channels) with 5.27 TVRs. Diya Aur Baati Hum from the STAR stable stands at the second position with 5.23 TVRs.

Sony's CID is the third most-watched programme in Week 10, clocking a TVR of 4.88. The next four slots are taken by Star Plus' shows, Saathiya Saath Nibhana (4.21 TVRs), Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (4.19 TVRs), Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (4.07 TVR) and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (4 TVRs).

Next in the list are Colors' properties, Uttaran and Balika Vadhu, with TVRs of 3.99 and 3.94, respectively.

Zee TV's Holi Ummido Wali-Hitler Didi is also included in the list with 3.73 TVRs.
