Fox Star Studios appoints Vizeum India to handle its media duties

Fox Star Studios has roped in Vizeum as its media AOR (agency of record) for India in a bid to consolidate its media operations within the country.

Mindshare is the incumbent agency for Fox Star Studios in India. It is pertinent to note here that Vizeum already handles the Fox business in 20 countries worldwide.

S Yesudas, managing director, Indian sub-continent, Vizeum, says, "The business moves to Vizeum based on the client's evaluation and satisfaction of our local abilities, and not just the global credential. It indeed was a long process. We will bring on board our best-in-class global expertise, combined with what the local market needs from a theatrical marketing perspective."

Vivek Krishnani, head, distribution, marketing and syndication, Fox Star Studios notes that the company operates in an industry where information availability is a challenge and spending decisions need to be more scientific.

"Being part of a global set up, it puts challenges on us to create accountability for the resources invested in promoting our films. Vizeum brings in an understanding of the media environment and the media dynamics which will help us optimise our media spends and help deliver a better ROI (return on investment)," he notes.

Vizeum India is the second media specialist brand from Aegis Media, the UK-based marketing and communications group, which also holds the media specialist Carat brand. The agency currently operates across 55 countries.
