Avinash Kaul gets additional responsibility of Times Now

At Times Television Network, Kaul will continue to report to Sunil Lulla, managing director and chief executive officer, TTN.

Times Television Network (TTN) has expanded the responsibilities of Avinash Kaul, CEO, ET Now and Zoom Entertainment Television. Kaul will now also be responsible for the network's English news channel, Times Now.

In his new role, Kaul will look after the operations of all the three channels of the network - Zoom (entertainment channel), ET Now (English business news channel) and Times Now (English general news channel). He will continue to report to Sunil Lulla, managing director and chief executive officer, TTN.

Kaul joined TTN as CEO, Zoom, in August, 2010, from Sahara One, where he served in the same position. He was handed the charge of the English business news channel, ET Now, along with Zoom, in December, 2011.

Kaul started his career as a media planner with HTA Fulcrum, moving on to Discovery Communications and STAR India. Subsequently, at NDTV Media, he spent several years handling diverse portfolios of operations and marketing, and also headed its consulting division.
