Taaza TV, a regional news channel in East India, will launch four new shows back to back. The shows will target young audiences in the age group of 15-20 years.
Starting May 23, the first show to be launched is a news bulletin called Rajdhani Express. The show is named after the famous luxury trains of India and the content will comprise of news from all state capitals. The presentation of the show will be graphic-heavy.
Following this, Mudda, a talk show, will be launched on May 26. The hard-hitting talk show will be based on political topics. Rajdhani Express and Mudda are slated to be aired during the evening slots of 5 pm and 6 pm, respectively.
Lux, Emami and Minu Sarees have been roped in as sponsors for these two shows.
Next month, two other shows, Sataasat News and Telly Talk, will be launched. While Sataasat News will bring news snippets in rapid news format, Telly Talk will be in a talk show format and focus on the entertainment industry.
