Sony was displaced from No. 2 in Week 22. It had garnered 219 GRPs for the second position in Week 21. Now, the channel is back at the No. 2 position, riding on the back of its popular fiction property, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, with 228 GRPs in the current week (Week 29), up from last week's 222 GRPs.

It may be noted that while all the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) have seen a downfall in the current week, both GECs from MSM's stable have seen a rise in their GRP numbers. Along with these, Sahara One, too, has seen a marginal increase in GRPs, as per the TAM data provided by various media agencies.

At No. 3, Zee TV has garnered 221 GRPs, down from 253 GRPs that the channel garnered last week. The channel's newly launched horror show Fear Files too has seen a significant decline in the ratings.

Colors is at No. 4 with 214 GRPs, down from last week's 230 GRPs. Following Colors is MSM's second GEC, SAB TV with 129 GRPs, up from last week's 123 GRPs.

Life OK is at No. 5 with 101 GRPs, losing 13 GRPs from last week.

Sahara One is at the trailing end with 42 GRPs.

While there has been a lot of shuffling in the top Hindi GECs and the top programmes on them, Star Plus' flagship fiction property Diya Aur Baati Hum continues to be at the top of the Top 10 list of programmes in the Hindi GECs, with 5.8 TVRs.

Like the channel GRPs, the shows too have seen a downfall in the ratings as compared to last week, apart from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Sasural Simar Ka and Crime Patrol. These three shows have seen a rise in the TRP numbers.

At second position is Zee TV's weekend flagship property, DID L'il Masters' Saturday episode with 4.4 TVRs (5.2 TVRs in the previous week).

The third position is occupied by Sony's popular fiction property Bade Achhe Lagte Hain with 4.2 TVRs (3.7 TVRs in last week). Interestingly, the show was averaging at about 2.6 TVRs until last week.

The fourth spot is shared by Sony's CID (3.8 TVRs last week), Zee TV's DID L'il Masters' Sunday episode (4 TVRs last week) and Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (3.8 TVRs last week) with 3.9 TVRs in the current week ending July 21.

At No. 7, Sony's Crime Patrol (3.4 TVRs in the previous week) and Colors' Balika Vadhu (4.3 TVRs in the previous week) stand at 3.8 TVRs.

The ninth spot is taken by Colors' Sasural Simar Ka with 3.1 TVRs, while the last spot is taken by Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana with 2.7 TVRs.
