Aaron was executive vice-president, Sony Pix. He joined Sony in 2002.

Sunder Aaron, executive vice-president, Sony Pix, has put in his papers, thereby ending his 10-year stint with the MSM (Multi Screen Media) network.

According to the industry grapevine, Aaron is currently serving his notice period. Aaron joined MSM (then Sony Entertainment Television) in 2002. Later as business head he was in-charge of creation, launch and channel operations for the group's English move channel, Pix.

Prior to that, Aaron was vice-president, international networks for Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI). In this role, he worked with local business heads at Sony Entertainment Television, while reporting to the top television executives at SPTI in Los Angeles. His primary duties included advising and assisting senior executive management on all corporate development projects and ventures at SET India.

Aaron is also the co-founder and chief operating officer of Cinema Entertainment Group (CEG), an entertainment media company. As COO, Aaron was responsible for consumer and trade marketing, and programming and production aspects for the network.

Throughout his professional career, he has garnered substantial experience structuring partnership deals, conceiving and authoring plans for new businesses, and launching their operations.

Aaron holds an MBA in strategy and marketing from the University of Michigan Business School. He graduated from Washington University.
