The weekly TAM data is out for its subscribers and the Hindi general entertainment (GEC) space once again exhibits a major reshuffle. Star Plus has moved back to the No. 1 spot, while Zee TV, up from No. 3, holds the second spot for the week ended January 19.

Interestingly, Star Plus' move to the top slot has not come on the back of any GRP gain; in fact, the channel's numbers remain stagnant at 241 points. Instead, with Bigg Boss coming to an end, it's Colors, the Viacom18 Hindi GEC, which lost 35 points (210 GRPs) to slip down the ladder to the No. 3 spot, thus making way for Star Plus to lead the flock once more.

According to TAM data provided to subscribers, Zee TV is the only GEC in the top bracket to gain GRPs. It has added 20 points to its kitty to end Week 2 with 215 points. The channel's weekday Monday-Friday primetime (7pm-11.30pm) has seen additional eyeballs, thereby contributing an additional 12 GRPs to the overall GRP grade; the weekend Saturday-Sunday primetime (7pm-11.30pm), meanwhile, has garnered 10 extra points for the channel.

At No. 4, Sony has slipped to 187 points with a loss of 8 points in Week 3. Sony Entertainment's sibling channel SAB TV continues to occupy the fifth spot with 146 points (150 GRPs in the previous week).

At No. 6 is Life OK, the second GEC from the STAR stable, which has garnered 128 GRPs, a gain of 11 points over Week 2. This is followed by Sahara One at No. 7, which is stable at 25 GRPs.

Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) leads the list of the most-watched programmes clocking a TVR of 4.87 (TAM, C&S 4+, HSM), followed by Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma (SAB TV) and Balika Vadhu (Colors) with TVRs of 4.81 and 4.78, respectively.

Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Zee TV) is at the fourth spot with 4.33 TVRs, while Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a Star Plus property, follows with 4.14 TVR.

The sixth most-watched programme is Pyaar Ka Dard Hai (Star Plus) with 4.01 TVR, followed by Saathiya Saath Nibhana on Star Plus (3.92 TVR) and Micromax 19th Annual Colors Screen Award on Colors (3.85 TVR).

Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV, 3.71 TVR) and Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Colors, 3.65 TVR) are also a part of the most viewed programmes of the week.
