Hathway buys out Bhaskar's stake in Bhaskar Multinet

The joint venture was formed in 2008, when Hathway Cable and Datacom acquired 51 per cent equity interest in Hathway Bhaskar Multinet, a cable distribution company.

Bhaskar Multinet is now a fully-owned subsidiary of Hathway Cable and Datacom, after the Dainik Bhaskar Group recently sold its 49 per cent stake in the company to Hathway. Hathway had owned controlling stake in the company, which operates in parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, since 2008.

The joint venture was formed in 2008, when Hathway Cable and Datacom acquired 51 per cent equity interest in Hathway Bhaskar Multinet, a cable distribution company.

In 2007, Hathway also bought out 50 per cent stake in Telelink (GTPL), a large independent MSO in Gujarat.
