Both Sunil Joshi and Stanley Fernandes will be based in Mumbai and will report to Myleeta Aga, senior vice-president and general manager, India and content lead, Asia.
BBC Worldwide, a British Broadcasting Corporation company, has announced some senior level appointments for its South Asia team. Sunil Joshi, who was leading distribution for North and Western India, has been promoted as head, distribution, BBC Global News, South Asia.
Meanwhile, Stanley Fernandes has been appointed as sales director, South Asia and in charge of programme sales. He will build and lead BBC Worldwide's TV content sales to all linear channels and digital platforms in India and the subcontinent, driving growth for content sales, revenue and brand exposure with broadcasters and digital platforms in India.
Before joining BBCW, Fernandes held various positions in the media sector, including that of senior manager at Disney Media Distribution.
Both Joshi and Fernandes will be based in Mumbai and will report to Myleeta Aga, senior vice-president and general manager, India and content lead, Asia.
