Subhas Warrier joins Vizeum as VP, South

Based in Chennai, Warrier will play an important role in the agency's growth and will report to S Yesudas, managing director, Indian subcontinent, Vizeum.

His last stint was with Initiative Bengaluru, where he was responsible for leading the agency's South India team.

This news comes close on the heels of the announcement of Vizeum India's newly launched Kerala operations. The agency has opened a new office in Kochi.

Talking about the appointment, Yesudas says, "Vizeum has consolidated Chennai well and is at an interesting juncture in its journey. Subhas brings on board all that's needed for our South India strategy." He adds that the agency is looking to expand its footprint across more markets in the Southern region.

For Warrier, it was the "inspiring leadership" of the agency that attracted him to Vizeum. "What I see of Vizeum from the inside simply amazes me. I would passionately take it to as many clients as possible as I feel every advertiser needs to be exposed to the Vizeum way of thinking. I look forward to partnering Yesu (S Yesudas) and the leadership team in taking Vizeum to the next level," he says.

Bringing with him over two decades of experience, Warrier started his career with Osterads Advertising and Marketing, Dubai. Before his most recent stint with Initiative, he was with Dentsu Media in Mumbai as the Mumbai head. He has also worked with JWT, Ogilvy, and then MindShare, after which he headed Eye - 2 - Eye Media in Dubai.
