Romance has always been one of the most popular genres on cinema, be it Hollywood or Bollywood. It's that time of the year when all the romantic sagas are celebrated on television. On Valentine's Day too, the English entertainment channels have planned to sweep the screens with syrupy tales of love.

To start with, Romedy Now, the English entertainment channel from TTN, has planned to send couples to Paris to celebrate love. To participate in the 'Romedy In Paris' contest, the viewers need to share their stories on the Facebook page of the channel. The answers can also be tweeted on @RomedyNOW or sent via a text message or email.

In addition, the channel has planned a special line-up of movies starting 8 am onwards. The movies that will be telecast are Titanic, No Strings Attached, 27 Dresses, You've Got Mail, Valentine's Day, Sleepless in Seattle and Another Cinderella Story.

STAR Movies is offering 'Joy Of Love' with a movie fest. Airing on February 14, the back to back movie special will run from 7.30 am to 10.30 pm. Spanning a variety of romantic comedies, the channel's picks include My Best Friend's Wedding, Hitch, Just Go With It, As Good as it Gets, Friends with Benefits, Bridget Jones' Diary and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
