Zee's Sujay Kutty joins ETV

Kutty moves to ETV from Zee Network where he was business head for Zee Bangla and Zee Bangla Cinema.

He will continue to be based in Kolkata.

According to the ETV network, Kutty's appointment is in the direction of strengthening the channels in the eastern region. The move aims to bring in a concentrated effort towards building both the channels in the space.

In his new role, Kutty will report to Ravish Kumar, EVP and business head, regional channels ETV Odiya, ETV Bangla and ETV Kannada.

The appointment of Sujay will just help us take this growth to the next level. His in-depth understanding and experience in the eastern markets will truly help us transform the Bengali and Odiya GEC landscape via innovative, intriguing and incredible content that will entertain and enthral viewers."

Kutty brings with him more than 15 years of experience. He has worked extensively in the media and entertainment industry with a keen focus on regional general entertainment channels. He had joined ZEEL in 2001 and since then has been working with the company in various capacities including SVP and business head, Zee Studio/Zee Café; SVP, sales and EVP, business head, Zee Bangla.

Before joining ZEEL, he was with Sony Entertainment Television as zonal manager.
