Dainik Bhaskar's Unmetro returns to Bangalore

The event will see some of the most knowledgeable marketing professionals assemble in one place.

Dainik Bhaskar's Unmetro series of conferences makes a return to Bengaluru on July 24, at the Ritz Carlton. The Unmetro concept is an effort by the Group to bring to the fore, the India beyond the metros, in terms of their present as well as latent potential. The focus of these conferences is on how these cities are also 'smart markets' right now and why marketers cannot afford to ignore them anymore.

Dainik Bhaskar's Unmetro returns to Bangalore
After an overwhelming response in 2013, Unmetro Bengaluru returns with an offering of some interesting panel discussions on issues spanning implications of Unmetro growth on marketers and the agency ecosystem, the growth dividend from these markets, and the impact of media reach on Unmetro markets. The conference promises to explore and explain these markets in great depth.

The event will see some of the most knowledgeable marketing professionals assemble together - P Krishnakumar, executive director & general manager, consumer & small business, Dell India, Bhaskar Choudhuri, director - marketing, Lenovo, Sanchayeeta Verma, general manager - South Maxus discuss the potential of these markets.

Commenting on the unmetro event, Pradeep Dwivedi, chief corporate sales & marketing officer, Dainik Bhaskar Group, says, "Our metros are no longer the elite cities they once were. This is because of the rapid economic development, rising incomes and consumerism in their Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. These cities are bursting with potential and opportunity and will be imperative in shaping India's future. The Unmetro event is our endeavour to bring these markets closer to the audience in metros thereby bringing in the true reality."

The Unmetro conferences are curated by afaqs! on behalf of DB Corp. Unmetro Bengaluru will be soon followed by Unmetro Delhi and Mumbai in August and September respectively.
