Sunder Venkatraman joins Zoom as VP and product head
He was programming head of 9XM, the music channel from 9X Media.
In his new role at Zoom, he will work closely with the business and leadership teams to ensure that the portfolio grows significantly and profitably. The content, programming and OAP teams will directly report to Venkatraman, who will also oversee the costs and viewership output of Zoom. Venkatraman will report to M K Anand, CEO and MD, Times Television Network.
Venkatraman brings with him over a decade of experience in the broadcast and related domains handling variety of responsibilities which include programming, direction of shows and promos, content creation, music acquisition, label liaison, OAP, animation, broadcast set up and day to day operations of the channels.
Prior to joining 9X Media, he had worked with MTunes, UTV, Channel V, Zee Arabiya and B4U Music. Venkatraman holds a PG Diploma Degree in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication, Pune, specialising in Audio-Visual Production.
