Star India rejigs senior management team

Amit Chopra, Rajeev Beotra, Krishnan Kutty have been given newer roles, and Anil Jayaraj has joined the company from Pidilite Industries.

Amit Chopra, former CEO of Hindustan Media Ventures, who was the head of ad sales division of Star India will be heading the overall revenue of the network. Chopra will now head distribution and ad sales revenue for both - entertainment and sports business.

He has been replaced by Rajeev Beotra as the head - ad sales. Beotra was earlier head- ad sales only for the sports business of the company. In his position, Star India has roped in Anil Jayaraj from Pidilite.

Krishna Kutty, earlier EVP- distribution of Star India, has now been designated as the head of distribution.

Both Kutty and Beotra in their new roles will report to Chopra.

At Pidilite, Jayaraj was working as the chief marketing officer. He had joined the company in June 2010. Prior to that, he was with BP as the marketing director.
