&TV brings 'The Voice' to India

The internationally acclaimed singing reality will be adapted and produced by Endemol in India. The channel has roped in Himesh Reshammiya, Mika, Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan as mentors on the show.

&TV, the Hindi GEC from ZEEL, is all set to air the Indian edition of the internationally acclaimed singing reality show 'The Voice'.

Owned by Talpa Media, the format is touted as one of the most successful vocal competitions across the globe. With 60 local productions entertaining audiences in more than 180 countries and over 500 million viewers around the world, 'The Voice' is now ready to find India's most promising vocalists.

Produced and adapted by Endemol, 'The Voice India' is slated to air this June on &TV.

In 'The Voice', the contestants are chosen through 'blind auditions,' only on the basis of their voice and not appearance. The channel has roped in Himesh Reshammiya, Mika, Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan as mentors.
