DishTV launches Anandam Active to showcase Ravi Shankar's teachings

Anandam Active will have a blend of spirituality, health, culture, social concerns, mythology, science and education.

DishTV, one of Asia's DTH service providers, has launched Anandam Active at the Art of Living headquarters in Bengaluru. The service will showcase the teachings of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Anandam Active will have a blend of spirituality, health, culture, social concerns, mythology, science, and education. This service will also have capsules of Ravi Shankar's teachings at regular intervals. It will be available to DishTV subscribers for a monthly subscription fee of Rs. 59, across cities, semi-urban and rural areas of India.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Shankar says, "I am extremely happy at the launch of Anandam Active service only on Asia's largest DTH player DishTV. This service has made it possible for millions of people who, due to their hectic lifestyles, cannot attend live discourses in my ashram to now listen and learn The Art of Living, even in the remotest part of the country.
