MediaCom has won Welspun's media mandate following a multi-agency pitch. Welspun Global Brands - retail division, is a specialty company in the home furnishing segment.
This is MediaCom's eighth win in the year. The other accounts won by the agency in 2015 include SAB Miller, Urban Ladder, Subway, Bose, Mango, Dainik Bhaskar and Mydala.
MediaCom is one of the world's leading media communications specialists, which claims to have billings exceeding US$29 billion (Source: RECMA 2013). It employs 5,800 people in 125 offices across 100 countries. Its client roster in India includes P&G, VW Group, Dell, Shell, Mars, Wrigley, Future Group, Tata DoCoMo, SAB Miller, Edelweiss, HRI and makemytrip.com, among others.
Set up in February 2003, Welspun Global Brands - retail division has two domestic brands, Spaces - Home and Beyond, and Welhome. Spaces caters to the premium customers, while Welhome caters to the value-for-money seekers.
