Saregama appoints Troy Lobo as VP, Sales and Marketing
He moves in from Turner International India, where he was executive director, South Asia, networks & content distribution.
Saregama India, the entertainment arm of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has brought on board Troy Lobo as vice president, sales and marketing.
He is the third senior hire at Saregama after Rajesh Beri and Siddharth Anand, two senior creative people, were brought on board earlier this month when the company ramped up its television content management team.
Vikram Mehra, MD, Saregama, says, "We are very pleased to have Troy head our marketing and sales functions across all verticals. His vast experience in the telecom and television sector will help build Saregama into an end-to-end music and entertainment company of tomorrow."
Lobo has over two decades of experience in sales and affiliated marketing. Pior to joining Turner International India, he had also worked with DHL Worldwide Express and Hutchison Max Telecom.
