GEC Watch: Star Plus retains top spot
As per BARC data, Star Plus' 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' is the top show again, followed by Zee's 'Kumkum Bhagya'.

As per BARC data, Star Plus is the top Hindi GEC, this time too, with 425395 GVTs (last week 408816 GVTs), while Colors, once gain is at the second spot with 392848 GVTs (last week 379921 GVTs). Zee TV and Life OK are at third and fourth positions with 236507 and 232855 GVTs, respectively (last week: 272282 and 236606 GVTs). SAB TV is at the fifth spot with 180566 GVTs (last week 190465 GVTs).
TAM Data: Top Hindi GECs of Week 40: September 27 to October 3, 2015-HSM without LC1, C&S 4+
As per TAM data, Star Plus is the No. 1 Hindi GEC with 248 GRPs and Colors is at No. 2 with 228 GRPs. Zee TV is at the third spot with 137 GRPs, followed by SAB TV in the fourth slot with 135 GRPs. Life OK is at No. 5 with 132 GRPs.
Sony and &TV came in sixth and seventh, respectively, again, with 109 GRPs and 63 GRPs respectively, while Zee Anmol is eighth on the list clocking 30 GRPs.
A look at the shows: As per TAM data, the top three shows are Star Plus' 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' (4.31TVR), 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' (4.2 TVR), and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' (4.03 TVR). Zee TV's 'Kumkum Bhagya' is at fourth position with 3.75 TVR.
Colors took up the next four spots with 'Swaragini' (3.7 TVR), 'Udaan' (3.58 TVR) 'Balika Vadhu' (3.52 TVR) and 'Sasural Simar Ka' (3.43TVR).
At No. 9 and 10 are SAB TV's 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma' (3.37 TVR) and Colors' 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' (3.32 TVR), respectively.
