Dish TV CEO R C Venkateish steps down

Jawahar Goel appointed as chairman of the Board, and has accepted the resignation of Subhash Chandra as non-executive promoter director of the company.

Dish TV has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its CEO R C Venkateish has resigned. His resignation will be effective from October 31, 2015.

Venkateish, who has been with Dish TV since 2010, will now be associated with the company in an advisory capacity.

The board has also accepted the resignation of Subhash Chandra, non-executive promoter director of the company, and nominated Jawahar Lal Goel as chairman of the Board.

Other resignations accepted are that of Mintoo Bhandari, non-executive nominee director, and Utsav Baijal, alternate director. Both are effective October 27, 2015.
