Sorbojeet Chatterjee quits ZEEL as Sr. VP, Marketing
He will launch a new venture in the digital media space.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd's (ZEEL) Sorbojeet Chatterjee has stepped down as senior vice-president, marketing, for the Hindi general entertainment cluster that includes Zee TV, Zee Anmol, Smile, 9X and Zee TV HD channels. Chatterjee, whose last day at ZEEL was October 24, told afaqs! that he would be launching a new venture in the digital media space by the end of the year.
Prior to ZEEL, which he joined in April 2014, Chatterjee was senior vice-president, marketing, DNA. He has over 14 years of experience that include both creative roles, as well as marketing and strategy positions. He has also worked with Neo Sports as vice-president (marketing), TV Today Network (head of marketing and special projects), and with Gslot.com as a copywriter.
