GEC Watch: Colors jumps up to No.2, while Star Plus stays at top

Star Plus continues to be at the top spot in Week 48 of BARC data. Its ratings were at 796 million compared to 813 million in Week 47.

Colors has scaled up to the second position with a rise in its ratings at 763 million ratings (previous week 713 million), while last week's No.2 channel Zee Anmol was at No.3 with 756 million ratings this week (previous week 754 million ratings)

The list of the top five shows of Week 48 has Colors' Nagin at the top position, up from its No.2 slot in the previous week, followed by Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Zee's Kumkum Bhagya, Colors' Sasural Simar Ka, and Zee Anmol's Ek Se Bhale Do.

TAM Data: Top Hindi GECs of Week 49-November 29 to December 5, 2015-HSM without LC1, C&S 4+

In TAM's latest data, Colors has jumped up to the No.1 position from its second slot last week, with 236 GRPs, the same number as its previous week performance. Star Plus slipped to the second position with 230 GRPs (previous week 251 GRPs).

Sony SAB stepped one slot up to No.3 (146 GRPs), while Zee slipped to No.4 this week (141 GRPs). Life OK came in fifth, with 123 GRPs followed by Sony Entertainment (119 GRPs) and &TV (71 GRPs).

Zee Anmol was at the eighth position with 35 GRPs, while Sony Pal and Star Utsav came in ninth and tenth, with 32 and 27 GRPs respectively.
