GEC Watch: Colors and Naagin on top again

Star Plus is at second position, while Zee Anmol at No.3 is highest among FTA channels.

Colors firmed up its No.1 position with a gross viewership of 762023 (last week 756549), and Star Plus was up one spot at No.2 with a gross viewership of 727809 (last week 699211).

Zee Anmol was at the No.3 position, seeing a slight dip in its viewership. The channel which is down one slot recorded a gross viewership of 682983 (last week 719713). At No.4, Zee TV witnessed a decline in viewership and recorded a gross viewership of 636989 against last week's 681259.

Star Utsav at No.5, recorded an increased gross viewership of 506714 (last week 462298), while at No.6 was Life OK with a gross viewership of 425798 (last week 421720). Rishtey was at the seventh position with a gross viewership of 365968 (last week 390305).

The Sony cluster came in at the eighth, ninth and tenth position. Sony Pal had a gross viewership of 339073 (last week it was 352393), Sony Entertainment Television was at No.6, with a gross viewership of 323649 against last week's 328025, and SAB TV was at the fifth position with a gross viewership of 325509 (last week 334235).

The Top five programmes as per BARC data Week 2, 2016:

Colors' Naagin continued to be the top show with an average viewership of 18125 (last week it was 19824). At No.2 again was Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, with a viewership of 14852 (last week it was 13692). Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus was at third spot with a viewership of 13067 (last week it was 2798). Colors' Sasural Simar Ka was at No.4, with 13466, versus last week's 12108).

Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein, at No.5 got an average viewership of 10814 (last week it was 11833).
