GEC Watch: In Week 34, Star Plus continues to be on top as No.1 channel in the urban market; Zee Anmol replaces Star Utsav as No.1 channel in rural market

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya remained the most-watched show in the urban market while Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar returned as the most-watched show in the rural market.

In Week 34 of BARC's viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus continued to lead as the No.1 channel with an increase in viewership with 495798 Impressions compared to 451634 Impressions in Week 33.

Colors saw an increase in ratings and remained at No.2 position with 375070 Impressions compared to 357667 Impressions last week.

Zee TV maintained its No.3 position with 327556 Impressions compared to 311093 Impressions last week.

Sony Sab was at No.4 position with 275934 Impressions compared to 271653 Impressions last week.

Life Ok was at No.5 with 269759 Impressions, after missing out to make it to the list of most-watched channels last week.

As far as the rural data is concerned, Zee Anmol replaced Star Utsav as the No.1 channel in Week 34 with 407790 Impressions compared to 367641 Impressions last week.

Star Utsav was at No.2 position with 395490 Impressions compared to last week's 417767 Impressions.

Sony Pal was at No.3 position with a viewership of 315483 Impressions, up from last week's 309082 Impressions.

Zee TV was at No.4 position with 249760 Impressions compared to 231427 Impressions last week.

Star Plus made it to No.5 position with a viewership of 236504 Impressions, after missing out in the list of most-watched channels in the rural market last week.

Top five shows in Hindi GECs (Urban)

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya remained the most-watched show, and was at No.1 spot with an average viewership of 7277 (Last week: 6697)

Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya replaced Zee TV's Brahmarakshas - Jaag Utha Shaitan at No.2 position, with an average viewership of 6346 after missing out last week to make it to the list of most-watched shows.

Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show was at No.3 position this week with an average viewership of 6232 (Last Week: 6391).

Colors' Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, jumped to No.4 position, with an average viewership of 5981 after missing out the last week to make it to the list of most-watched shows.

Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein made it to the top-watched shows after missing out in the list last week, and was at No.5 position with an average viewership of 5777.

Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the most-watched show at No.1 position with an average viewership of 5936 (Last week: 6295).

Zee Anmol's Bandini was at No.2 position with an average viewership of 5580 (Last week: 5666).

Star Utsav's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya remained at No.3 position with an average viewership of 5470 (Last week: 4782).

Zee Anmol's Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Ja jumped to No.4 position with an average viewership of 5053 after missing out in last week's list.

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya was pushed to No.5 position from No.4, with an average viewership of 4984 (Last Week: 4397).
