In Week 36 of BARC's television viewership data for the urban market, Star Plus continued its reign at the top though slipping from 508814 Impressions in Week 35 to 498615 Impressions this week.
It was once again followed by Colors at No.2 position with 393032 Impressions, up from 368875 Impressions in the previous week. Zee TV, too, maintained its No.3 position with 325596 Impressions compared to 341759 Impressions in Week 35.
This week, Life OK made it to the Top 5 list with 269510 impressions, while Sony SAB slipped a slot to No.5 with 268528 Impressions this week (Last week: 280193) in the list of most-watched channels.
Rural Data
In the rural market, Zee Anmol remains the No.1 channel in Week 36, despite a fall in Impressions, clocking 375864 this week compared to 395901 Impressions in Week 35.
Star Utsav was at second place again with 333119 Impressions, marginally up from 332806 Impressions in Week 35. Sony Pal retained its No.3 position with 290193 Impressions, up from 285311 in the previous week.
Making it to the Top 5 list this week is Rishtey with 254813 Impressions, while last week's No.4 channel Zee came in at fifth position with 253179 Impressions (256256 Impressions in Week 35).

Zee TV's Brahmarakshas grabbed the top position this week with a viewership of 6927, while Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus was a close second with viewership at 6902. Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya slipped to the No.3 slot with viewership at 6857 followed by Colors' Shakti at No.4 clocking 6617. The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony came in fifth with a viewership of 6265.

In Week 36, Zee Anmol's Jodha Akbar remained the most-watched show with an average viewership of 6323.
Zee Anmol's Bandini was again at No.2 position with an average viewership of 5688 while its Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Ja retained its third position with an average viewership of 5417.
Stepping up a slot from Week 35 was Star Utsav's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya at the fourth position with an average viewership of 5212, while Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya slipped to the fifth position with an average viewership of 4958.
