In his new role, he will spearhead sales and marketing.
The Sunday Guardian has appointed Sanjay Sharma as chief operating officer (COO). In his new role, Sharma will spearhead sales and marketing, along with The Sunday Guardian's foray in other markets.
Commenting on the new appointment, Kartikeya Sharma, founder and promoter, iTV Network, says, "The Sunday Guardian is delighted to have (Sanjay) Sharma on board. His rich experience will help Sunday Guardian underline its commitment towards its readers to provide a wide horizon of information, entertainment, opinion, and fine reading."
Sharma, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC), has a rich experience of over three decades in sales and marketing, advertising, branding, marcom, and corporate communications. His foray into the media was with the Hindustan Times Group. In the past, Sharma was associated with Ansal API, Simbhaoli Sugars, Jindal Photo Films (Fuji Films) and Indian Airlines. He has also worked as a casual English newsreader with the All India Radio (AIR), and is currently a visiting faculty with leading mass communication institutes.
