Leadership changes at Sony; Saurabh Yagnik, Tushar Shah gets new roles

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced changes in its leadership team, Saurabh Yagnik, EVP & business head of the English cluster of channels will move into a newly created role of EVP - monetisation strategy & consumer insights. In this role, Yagnik will lead the identification of organic and inorganic monetisation opportunities in partnership with the revenue and channel heads, to increase SPN's participation in the marketplace.

Tushar ShahHis role will also include leveraging consumer insights to identify and facilitate implementation of new business opportunities for the network. As head of SPNI English cluster, Yagnik was in charge of, AXN, Sony PIX, Sony Le Plex HD and Sony BBC Earth.

Tushar Shah, EVP and business head, Sony AATH will take on the role of EVP - AXN, Sony PIX, Sony Le Plex HD, Sony BBC Earth and Sony AATH. Shah has been with SPNI for over 11 years.

Both Shah and Yagnik will report to SPNI, chief executive officer, NP Singh.
