Sony Sports Cluster’s AVP marketing, Murtuza Madraswala, quits

Murtuza MadraswalaMurtuza Madraswala, AVP, marketing, Sports Cluster, Sony Pictures Networks India has decided to move out of the organisation. As per sources he has served his notice period and left the broadcaster.

A source informed, “He has agreed to terms with a new company and it is out of the broadcast space.” Murtuza joined Sony in 2012 and worked on the Network’s sports portfolio since then. He has played a pivotal role in the FIFA World Cup and Euro campaigns over the years and also crafted marketing initiatives for NBA and other Cricket tournaments.

He joined Sony from Amigo Sports where he was GM-marketing and working on the FIFA business division. Sony was not the only broadcaster Murtuza worked with; he had a four-year stint with the ZEEL owned Ten Sports. Overall, Murtuza has close to 20 years of experience in marketing and client servicing.
