Sony Sports Network to launch dedicated Tamil and Telugu sports channels

Additionally, the network’s popular Hindi sports channel will also undergo a refreshed identity. Sony Sports Ten 3 (SD) will be rebranded as Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi, and Sony Sports Ten 3 (HD) will become Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi HD.

Sony Sports Network has announced the launch of two new regional sports channels - Sony Sports Ten 4 Tamil and Sony Sports Ten 4 Telugu - effective July 10, 2025. This move is aimed at offering viewers content in their preferred language and strengthening the network’s regional presence.

The two channels will cater specifically to Tamil - and Telugu-speaking audiences, providing language-specific coverage and programming. The network says this change will make it easier for viewers to access sports content in a format that feels familiar and culturally relevant.

In addition, the network’s existing Hindi sports channel will undergo rebranding:

  • Sony Sports Ten 3 (SD) will become Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi

  • Sony Sports Ten 3 (HD) will be renamed Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi HD

This timely development comes ahead of a blockbuster sports calendar that includes two cricket properties, the ongoing India tour of England series, the Asia Cup along with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), UEFA Champions League and more.
