Chinese smartphone brand Realme has announced that it will be integrated into Oppo as a sub-brand, as part of a move aimed at pooling resources and reducing costs.

The integration brings Realme closer to Oppo, with both companies sharing a common parent, BBK Electronics, which also owns Vivo. Realme currently sells its smartphones across markets including India, Southeast Asia and Europe.
