Madhuri Sapru quits Kinetic

Madhuri Sapru, managing partner, Kinetic & Dialect South Asia, who handled the position since mid 2006, put in her papers on September 13; other details are not yet worked out. However, Sapru says, "I am going on a vacation and will explore my options."

Kinetic was created by integrating Portland Outdoor and Poster Publicity with the outdoor and non-traditional arms of GroupM companies. The two OOH agencies in India (Portland and Poster Publicity) have a combined market share of about 17 per cent in the country.

Before joining Kinetic, Sapru held various positions at Tata Teleservices, including head, of marketing communications and head, customer service operations. Earlier, she was working for the Tata Group, where she managed the Tata brand and also led the Tata Group AoR, at that time the second largest AoR operation in the country.

She has more than 21 years of work experience, most of it at the client's end with companies such as Nestle, Blow Plast, BPL Mobile (now Loop Mobile) and the Tata Group.
