Jain's immediate mandate will be to service the existing clients on board, and consolidate the agency's businesses, while acquiring new ones.
Milestone Brandcom, the out of home (OOH) agency has strengthened its strategy and planning team by hiring Sheetal Jain as associate vice-president, strategy and planning. Jain, who will be based in Mumbai, will report to Nabendu Bhattacharyya, managing director, Milestone Brandcom.
Jain's immediate mandate will be to service existing clients on board, consolidate the agency's businesses, and acquire new ones. She will also be required to design a new course for brand activation and customer engagements in the agency. In addition, she will also take up the corporate communication responsibility for the Milestone Group.
"Having considerable experience on both sides of the fence -- agency, as well as the client side, Jain's experience and expertise in 360 degrees marketing, media and communications, coupled with public relations, will be an asset as we build momentum for the group," says Bhattacharyya, in an official communique.
He further adds, "Milestone is all set to expand in the area of experiential marketing, brand activation and retail solutions, and Jain's experience on all fronts will help brands build customer engagements to achieve their ultimate objectives."
Jain, who has more than 11 years of experience in various corporate houses and advertising agencies, started her career with ZenithOptimedia, followed by Cactus Imaging. She subsequently shifted to Ogilvy Landscape, and then Brand David, followed by her most recent role in RCOM.
She has handled various clients such as Hindustan Petroleum, Yatra.com, Mid Day, Singapore Tourism Board, ITC, Hutch, STAR TV, Development Credit Bank (DCB), National Geographic, Radio City, and Coca-Cola, to name a few.
Jain holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts, from Jai Hind College, and a Master's in Advertising and Public Relations from Mumbai's K C College of Management Studies.
