Times OOH bags advertising rights for Mumbai Metro One

The company has bagged the business for 15 years.

Times OOH has bagged the advertising rights for Mumbai Metro for a period of 15 years. A subsidiary of the BCCL group, Times OOH will have the rights to branding inside stations, station pillars, train wraps, inside train, sponsorship opportunities and the digital network installed by Times Innovative Media (TIML).

Commenting on this acquisition, Sunder Hemrajani, managing director, TIML, says, "Mumbai Metro Line I is an important project under the Public Private Partnership. It will offer Mumbai citizens a comfortable, reliable and efficient transportation mode. Mumbai will see metro rail system for the first time which will offer state of the art coaches and passenger convenience systems. We are delighted to be associated with this project as the overall media partner of Mumbai Metro to offer world class media solutions to marketers for engaging with their target segments. We look forward to this long term association."

Mumbai Metro One has already awarded the letter of contract to the group.

Times OOH has a presence in all kinds of OOH media segments such as airports, gantries, billboards, unipoles and others. It has won contracts for Yamuna Expressway, Delhi Airport, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Delhi Metro, DND Flyway, Hyderabad BQS, Bangalore BQS and others.

Reliance-owned Mumbai Metro One will launch its first phase of 11.4 km line from Versova-Andheri to Ghatkopar in January, 2014.
