November usually witnesses the biggest shopping extravaganza in the country. We all know this festive month provides an immense opportunity for brands to advertise conceptual videos that can last through the end of the year and effectively catch the consumer's eye.
This month, Samsung made sure that its Galaxy A9 grabbed everyone's attention while Flipkart's recent campaign had a subtle message that focuses on gender equality.
Here are the advertisements that generated the most viewership for the month for November 2018:

Samsung launched its first smartphone with a quad-camera setup last month and it's a big hit. Their ad tagline - "Pictures become fun when you widen your world. Watch Ayushmann Khurrana capture the real story with the Ultra Wide lens of the new Galaxy A9" - is a tenuous nod to his recent blockbuster hit movie "Andhadhun."
Samsung's Galaxy A9 is a premium, mid-end smartphone and has already generated an impressive engagement rate for its YouTube video. Currently, this advertisement is the most-viewed ad for the month of November 2018.
2. Hindi 30-Sec 'Samajhdaar Jaante Hain Har Paani Ki Bottle Bisleri Nahin'
Bisleri India just created one its most entertaining 30-second TVCs that's bound to go viral on YouTube. Currently, there are many copycat options for Bisleri water that don't actually provide safe, pure drinking water. The campaign talks about the importance of insisting for Bisleri when you ask for it and not settling for any other bottled water brand provided in its stead.
3. Enjoy 3 months of Netflix | #AirtelThanks
The #AirtelThanks campaign offers exclusive benefits to consumers including premium content, to its mobile and home broadband customer. Under #AirtelThanks, customers on Infinity Postpaid plans of Rs 499 and above will get a three month Netflix subscription, worth Rs 1500, for free.
According to their Chief Marketing Officer, Vani Venkatesh, the brand wants to build #AirtelThanks into a large-scale 'telco-brand' collaboration property and celebrate their relationship with their customers by making them feel special. This ad campaign generated 14 million views and is the third most-viewed advertisement this month.
4. Colgate Strong Teeth - Andar se strong - Football (6+30s)
Colgate-Palmolive (India), the market leader in oral care, has revealed a new TVC to launch its new campaign 'Andar se Strong' for its flagship brand Colgate. This advertisement draws attention to the importance of women/girls while informing all viewers to let their voices be heard. With more than 13 million views, this is the fourth most-viewed ad in the month of November 2018.
5. Galaxy A9 | World's 1st Quad Camera with Ultra Wide lens
Samsung, India's most trusted smartphone brand launched the Galaxy A9 in India, with the world's first rear quad camera, Infinity Display and unmatched performance. The ad showcases their Ultra Wide lens feature that allows you to take the picture without twisting yourself into a pretzel. With more than 11 million views, this is the fifth most viewed advertisement for the month of November.
6. Hyundai | #BeTheBetterGuy | Meet the Better Guy feat. Shah Rukh Khan
Hyundai Motors' road safety campaign - "Be The Better Guy" - is back with a bang. This ad, in association with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, is aimed at creating a positive change in society and inspiring people to adhere to traffic rules. The campaign has clocked more than 10 million views and features Shah Rukh Khan as brand ambassador.
7. Sunfeast Farmlite - #HealthierYouAwaitsYou
This Children's Day, Sunfeast Farmlite urged their campaign viewers to live a healthier lifestyle not just for themselves but their children too. This creative combination of World Diabetes Day and Children's Day clearly showcases the importance of kids inheriting a healthy lifestyle from their parents.
8. Amazon India: Happy Diwali!
Every year Amazon India launches a multi-platform campaign to reach out to its consumers. In this advertisement, Amazon.in positioned itself as the complete, single shopping destination for any customers' festive and household needs from large appliances, home décor and kitchen items to occasion wardrobe, festive items, household groceries and more. The ad generated more than 9 million views.
9. Vodafone: #LookUp this Diwali
This advertisement brings our addiction to smartphones into the light - the idea of multitasking and the habit to connect our society through social media, affects the relationship with our families, even on the eve of Diwali.
This touching ad also depicts how Diwali should be celebrated traditionally with the family with real conversations, especially on festive occasions. With more than 8 million views, this advertisement is the ninth most-viewed ad campaign of November.
10. Flipkart: Let's raise a generation of equals! #GenerationEqual #GenE
Flipkart started the year with a commitment to tell stories that champion progressive living and thinking, in line with their tagline - Naye India Ke Saath. The campaign is crafted by Dentsu Webchutney and challenges the Indian stereotype of how it is okay for a boy to cry and like the colour pink openly. This ad campaign clocked more than 7 million views and is the tenth most-viewed ad for the month of November.
