The Hindu’s Abilasha Anish moves on from the daily broadsheet to join Star India’s Tamil general entertainment channel Star Vijay TV. Anish was head brand strategy and marketing at The Hindu and now she will head marketing for Star Vijay as assistant vice president, marketing.
Abilasha Anish updated her professional profile on LinkedIn confirming development. She had joined The Hindu in 2016 and stayed with the organisation for around three years. Before that she had a two-year stint with FCB Interface as account director - strategic planning. Anish started her career in 2006 with The Times group as senior officer - marketing from there she moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She joins Star Vijay with a professional experience of more than 13 years.
Anish is a Bsc in computer science and technology and has an MBA in marketing from PSG Institute of management. She also did a two-year executive program in Managing Business Decisions, Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from IIM Calcutta.
