Amrita Thapar is Microsoft India’s new CMO
She joined the tech giant from Amazon Web Services where she was its India communications lead.
Microsoft India has appointed Amrita Thapar as its new chief marketing officer. The move happened in January 2022, Thapar only recently updated her LinkedIn bio.
Before this move, she was Amazon Web Services’ Indian communications lead, she was with the company for 17 months. In a career that spans over 22 years, Thapar has worked at organisations like Genpact, Times Group, and NDTV.
