Eternal Limited (formerly Zomato Limited) has named Aditya Mangla as the new CEO of its food ordering and delivery business. The appointment follows the completion of Rakesh Ranjan’s two-year tenure in the role. Ranjan will continue to be associated with the company, though he ceases to be part of the senior management, effective July 6, 2025.
Mangla, who has been with Eternal since March 2021, was most recently serving as Head of Product for the food delivery vertical.

Over the past four years, he has taken on various leadership responsibilities including head of supply and head of customer experience, focusing on streamlining restaurant partner ecosystems and enhancing customer satisfaction.
In an internal note to employees, Eternal founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal described Mangla as a leader with “the humility to learn, the ability to think in systems, and the instinct to act.” He added, “This isn’t just a change of roles. It’s a signal for the kind of leadership we need as we move into our next chapter.”
Goyal also acknowledged Ranjan’s contribution in stabilising the business and fostering a strong execution culture over the past two years.
Before joining Eternal, Mangla held senior roles in product, P&L, and marketing across tech-driven companies and startups. He holds a PGP in Management from the Indian School of Business, a master’s degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, and an undergraduate degree in IT from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
